The Fintech Financial Services group (Fintech) is a boutique full service financial advice business located in Newstead, Brisbane. The business provides high quality financial advice, estate planning and tailored investment solutions to ultra high net worth individuals/families, high net worth professionals, Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) trustees, and business owners. Delivering excellent service, value and transparency is central to Fintech’s personalised financial advice and investment management services provided under a flat fee structure.
History of Fintech
Fintech Management Pty Ltd was founded in 1987 as a specialist SMSF administration business, providing limited investment products. The introduction of the Financial Services Reform Act (FSRA) in March 2004 meant that more comprehensive levels of analysis, and disclosure were required for clients to receive financial advice and investment management services. In April 2004, Principal Grant Chapman acquired Fintech Management Pty Ltd and enhanced the services to clients by also providing a full spectrum of financial advice services across the areas of Income/Tax, Investments, Debt, Risk/Insurances, Retirement and Estate Planning.
In 2011, new entity Fintech Financial Services Pty Ltd was formed to operate an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and facilitate the provision of investments in a Managed Account structure for clients. The benefits of this structure include that Fintech holds its own financial services licence and is not associated with any other organisation or licensee like a bank. In the Managed Account structure, clients are the beneficial owner of each underlying share and investment in their portfolio. The structure is transparent, tax efficient and very cost effective to provide for the long term needs of clients.

Fintech also provides support to various community and charitable organisations such as the Red Cross and the Kids With Cancer Foundation.
